For me, shadows define the shape of an object or the mood in a scene. Light plays an essential part in making this happen by revealing the color, texture and various shades that dance through a painting. In order to achieve the vibrant colors and a sense of depth in the work, I use a combination of wet into wet, glazes and dry brush techniques.

Some of the images I have chosen to put into reproduction are done using traditional offset lithography while the remainder are made by the digital computer process or "Giclee". Since I have personally supervised the reproduction of all these images, I believe they resemble the original watercolor paintings as closely as is possible. |
