Warm, cuddly, cute and even eat my flowers but thats nature. I raised a wild cottontail when we moved into our new home. He was rescued from the mouth of a golden retriever at a local nursery, the owner certainly did not want to keep any rabbits in his gardens. Hence the rabbit was named "Lucky Foot". I bottle fed him with a dolls bottle and a special formula the vet gave me. As he grew he learned to drink from a dish and eat applesauce from a spoon. He lived in the brand new glassed shower in the studio. This was great for observing his movements. When spring came he went out side to a large enclosure where the wild rabbits would actually come to visit. I selected wild flowers to use in the paintings that I knew the bunnies would like as well as giving brighter colors to complement the fur.
