| In my part of the south, barns are everywhere, in particular, tobacco barns. But most of these now have lost their usefulness and are crumbling away, soon to be only a memory. Most people take them for granted or don't even notice them anymore. I feel myself fortunate as an artist to see beyond the decay and preserve these images in drawings that bring out the beauty of these structures and their surroundings. | |||||
