Western and Native America are some of the artist's favorite subjects. Several trips through the west have stimulated this love of the American west. The Apache Brave is one of G. Marlo Allen's most unusual paintings as there is no brushwork involved. Layers of vivid acrylic colors were applied with a palette knife until the desired effect was created.
