In many ways I feel wild animals are caretakers of our personal sense of being free and wild. They embody our feelings of mystery about things that we sense in the universe, things that are just out of reach of our logical mind and our control. This mystery is given voice by the bugling of the elk on a frosty morning, the howling of the wolves as they call to the hunt, and the sound of the coyotes thrilling seranade.
