From within the actual landscape, silence abounds and an almost palpable quality of ancient, indigenous time envelops the visitor. Light plays with its forms, acting to direct one"s attention to first one scene and then another. If the photographer approaches his task with a real quality of openess and respect, quality photographs will happen. With this attitude toward photography even old familiar places will yield new work.
